Addison County

Addison County is located in the middle of the western corridor, with Middlebury at its core. It’s bordered by the Green Mountains on the east and the lower reach of Lake Champlain on its west. Middlebury, its largest population center is enlivened by the presence of Middlebury College, a prestigious liberal arts college.

County towns located within the Vermont Western Corridor Transportation Management Plan project area are: Addison, Bridport, Bristol, Cornwall, Ferrisburg, Goshen, Leicester, Middlebury, Monkton, New Haven, Panton, Ripton, Salisbury, Vergennes, Waltham, Westford, Weybridge and Whiting.
