Franklin County

Franklin and Grand Isle Counties, represented by the Northwest Regional Planning Commission, is located in the most northwestern section of Vermont. Lake Champlain, St Albans, and the Canadian border are prominent landmarks on this mostly rural stretch of Route 7. 

Coounty towns located within the Vermont Western Corridor Transportation Management Plan project area are: Alburgh, Fairfax, Fairfield, Franklin, Georgia, Highgate, North Hero, St. Albans City, St. Albans Town, South Hero, Sheldon and Swanton.
