"Road to Affordability Initiative:

The Road to Affordability is an initiative by the Vermont Agency of Transportation to shift increased resources to the preservation and maintenance of the state’s critical transportation infrastructure like bridges, roads and culverts. Vermont’s transportation infrastructure is aging. Shifting resources towards its preservation is imperative not only to protect both the safety and mobility of the traveling public, but to be proper financial stewards of the state’s investments.
